Weekends in March
I named our farm here in Fair Play the Famine's End Farm back in 1975 in honor of my Irish immigrant great-great grandfather, William Fitzpatrick, who fled the Great Famine in 1848 and I, the clan's first farmer since then. In remembrance of the Great Hunger in Ireland 150 years ago, Fitzpatrick's will be serving up homemade Potato soup, & fresh baked bread every Saturday and Sunday 11-5pm or whenever we run out.
