Actually you can put together a fine wine country picnic with our selection of cheeses like Ireland’s Dubliner and a line of Spring Hill Organic Cheese from their Jersey cows in Sonoma County. A variety of crackers, tasty mustards, olives, seasonal fruit, smoked oysters, homemade Hummus and chips and more will turn an ordinary weekday into a memorable day relaxing out on our decks or new garden patio.

We stock some dark chocolates, some Irish chocolate imports and occasionally hand-dip our own truffles, nuts and fruit in dark chocolate

And what’s really cool especially when its really hot is our selection of beers and a good selection of Irish beers it is. We’ve found that in a group of 4 or more visiting our wine country eventually someone going to crave a beer. And what a relief we see on those faces when they arrive here to find a cold one. Wine drinkers carry on relaxed knowing their friend (s) is now at peace.

PICNIC POLICY
When you serve food, as we do, it becomes awkward to also allow picnicking. There’s a question of who gets the best seats, the shade, the view; the patrons of your food or the group that brought their own picnic? If we lived in a perfect world where people would take complete responsibility for their actions, we could make both work. But experience proves otherwise so Picnicking here at Fitzpatricks is not a given but a privilege bestowed on a case by case basis.

If you’re our Wine Fellowship Gold Member , you have certain privileges. But if you’ve packed all you need including drinks and plan to open wines other than Fitzpatricks – well, all I can say is NO WAY! And there’s lots of gray in between and we will do our best to make the right decision when handing out the privilege to picnic here at Fitzpatrick depending on the time and circumstances. But once that decision is made the old Irish saying is our one commandment BE GOOD OR BE GONE!
