The French Basque Room located upstairs in the SW corner is a bright happy room with balcony to enjoy the setting sun. Contrasting blue walls and white trim hold many pictures old and new of Diana's French Basque heritage, even the 400+ year old homestead where her Amachi was born high in the Pyrenees. Diana's living a life that both her grandparents from the Basque country lived after they emmigrated to Santa Barbara, California when the Anchordoquys were innkeepers and publicans all through the Prohibition days.
